Show background in 3ds max viewport
In this tutorial I will give a tutorial that is not much different from how to make a background in 3ds max or combine a background with an object in 3dsmax, but this is more precisely how to display a background in a 3ds max viewport. this is a way to place the background so that it fits when rendered.
This tutorial can be practiced when the 3ds max program used uses the vray rendering settings. for those who haven't installed vray, please install vray first, for those who don't have it click here. But those who have been installed but have not been able to change the vray settings can read this article first. Okay, just how to display material in the 3ds max background view, the full tutorial is:

on the initial display 3ds max press the number 8 on the keyboard and it will appear Environmen and affacts
and then click None indicated by the image:

Then a browse material/Map will appear, select VrayHDRI:

after that a slate material editor will appear as shown below, if the slate material editor looks different, you can change it so that it looks like the image below, see this article. After that drag from VrayHDRI to the slate material as shown in the image then select OK :

After that we will see the material that has not been filled, we will fill it with HDRI material. click on the arrow shown number 5 and the parameters will appear next to it, click Browse:

Then a tab will appear to select HDRI material, for those who don't have it, you can download it here first. if you have selected the HDRI material then click open.

After that change the Mapping Type from Angular to Spherical .

to brighten the image change the gamma to 2.2 and the Overall mult to 1.6.

kemudian tutup semua tab atau jendela browser material, hehinga hanya nampak tampilah view 3ds max, kemudian klik S haded -> Viewport Background ->Show Backgrounds.

Setelah itu ulangi untuk melakukan klik Shaded -> Viewport Background ->then Viewport Background ALT + B .

and a background will appear in the 3ds max display which will be rendered if we press the render button or press F9.
